🚨 PoE 3.27: Broken Trade Market and Frustrating UI on PS5

I know I'm whispering into a hurricane, but I prefer the smaller market.

Also, most of you are completely failing to understand the fact that if had cross-purchase with PC market *nothing* 99% of console players pick up would be worth anything. Only actual raw currency would be loot for most of us.

You're mad that some item you want is 500% more expensive on console? Guess what, it also means you can sell some of your stuff for 500% more.

If you actively participate in the economy, a smaller economy is not "worse" it's just different.

It's only the "leechers", people who only buy and never sell that are worse off in a small economy.

don't settle for a bad economy, when you can have a worse one!

I agree with that. I don't care at all about the price difference. I buy at a higher price, but I also sell at a higher price. If you trade actively, it's no big deal. It's just a matter of habit.

That part of the console economy I've gotten used to.

What is causing me no end of frustration is the removal of classic trade market made trade in anything "currency" 500% harder.
I'm finding that the number of listings seems to be even more reduced than normal, making this an even more SSF league. The tree is the only reason I've been able to get even as much gear as I currently have, and I've had terrible luck with it.

Additionally, searching for certain things (eg cluster jewels) is even worse now, forcing me to use a mobile device alongside the game to even begin to be able to play.

My biggest issue is that the supply completely shuts out being able to try different builds, as you simply cannot get the pieces you need to be able to assemble something that works. There are over 600 listings for Indigon on PC, there is one on PSN. Yesterday there were zero. As a dad gamer, I don't have the time or inclination to farm to the point where SSF is a viable approach, but the console market requires it.

Solution idea:
If crossplay limitations prevent a truly shared market space, then can GGG create dummy listings of items based on the PC market, maybe on a daily update basis? This would enable the economies to be in step with each other and provide the volume of items needed for a healthy community. With async trade, there is no longer a human element required, so this is now a technically viable solution.
The season is dead and I think the next ones are too. 5 and a half players are playing. The only solution is crossmarket. 3 weeks of league and nothing can be farmed. There are no scarabs, maps or currencies.
Async trade is the best which could happen. Async UI is fine also the market panel. You just need to get used to it.
Merging trade markets would be so much better, im happy to work with a crappy UI and manually price checking if I have to but, the lack of volume of trading on ps5 makes it rough
I’mon Xbox and it’s brutal. Does anyone have a method to trade for scarabs in this league? I didn’t have a problem in past leagues trading for scarabs but now there’s nothing for instant buyout even on pc and anybody with a price listed has the whole tab listed and all pricing defaults to a chaos a piece but nobody is actively trying to trade scarabs. You can’t juice maps.

The intended method is to use the Currency Exchange through Faustus.

Unfortunately, in small markets (both consoles and HC trade on PC), people check faustus, see nothing there, and either give up or go back to the old way of listing items.

If everyone would actually just put in their orders (whether buy or sell), the Currency Exchange would come to life, and people would be able to trade those items.

Now, some markets are too small even for that (think HC trade on either console), but I'm not sure what the solution is.

But on Playstation (bigger than XBox, but not by a lot), I have successfully purchased consumables through Faustus multiple times by just putting up a buy order, even though there were no sell listings. I would usually get my order filled in less than a day.

If you're a wealthy player (which wanting to bulk buy scarabs sort of implies), you should be able to put put a buy order for a large quantity, and that may even just-start the market for those items on the currency exchange.
