Can't leave incursion encounter

I did incursion in a t16 underground river map, and after completing the fourth encounter i could not exit the zone via the usual way (the exit altar thing). After i waited out the 90 seconds remaining i got kicked out of the encounter as usual and could continue with my map normally.
