I literally cannot stomach looking at delirium maps any longer
|
My body has developed some sort of immune response to seeing delirium on these maps. Something about it is so intensely off putting and horrible to look at that i genuinely close the game after 5 minutes any time i see any sort of delirium fog. It NEEDS to be cut from the game entirely.
Ive seen people say "let me tone it down" or something something. This isnt even about PERFORMANCE at this point, it is physically repulsive to look at. I cannot physically tolerate it any longer, as someone who has put in many days played time this past 0.3 season. I cannot stress enough, that it SHOULD BE ENTIRELY REMOVED FROM THE GAME. You can maybe keep the mechanic or whatever, i think its boring and unfun, but i really dont care, what I need is for you devs to understand that STARING at it is causing me to feel physically nauseous and unable to play this game any more. I have to agree I hope they change it.

I just wish before they started copy pasting league mechanics into poe2, they at least asked the players which ones they wanted to see come back and why, instead of relying on league retention numbers.
Had they actually polled the players, they would have been told right then and there that delirium fog was a no-go. Pre-emptive communication with your player base can sometimes save you a lot of work. Now we are in the same conundrum as before, where it is hard to get rid of the entire mechanic due to sunk cost fallacy and hard to rework the fog itself, because it requires redoing all the assets connected to it. |

+1.
But beware on 0.4 they might bring DELVE which is same but "Blue". Let's hope they don't keep POE1 mechanics to POE2. |
