Cannot access some items in stash (Controller, PC)

When I attempt to hover over certain items in my quad tab using controller inputs, the indicator refuses to move onto the item. for example, if I align the indicator to the square to the right of the item, and hit left, it instead moves left down, or sometimes just jumps back to my personal inventory. It seems to be mainly foulborn currency, but I have noticed it affecting some jewels as well. I am playing KotF softcore, on PC, with an xbox controller, in controller input mode.
