Merchant Tab Upgrade

I upgraded almost all my premium stash tabs to merchant tabs in POE 1. They all disappeard found out afterwards they become a new stash from a Vendor in POE 2 and i might have to play POE 2 to get these tabs back? POE 2 is a horrific game and i wish to never touch it again. Is there any other way or will i have to stop playing POE 1 as well because i've lost most of the tabs I have purchased?

If you upgraded your stash tabs to merchant, they will no longer be available from your stash. They will instead be found in your shop, which you can access in POE1 by talking to faustus and selecting Manage Shop. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
