Ritual Reward - Perfect Guardian Turtle/Perfect Forest Warrior mechanic

Hi,

I purchases the 2 ritual rewards (turtle and warrior) to summon as spectre. They were expensive but well worth it!

I had to unsocket my spectre gem to change the piece of gear it was on and it seems like I lost them from my desecrate pool. Is this intended?

If so, I suppose I will be required to re-buy them both.

How would I avoid losing the spectre if I change my gear again/I purchase a new spectre gem (one with higher quality or higher level for example).

Answering my own question - apparently if you unsocket the spectre gem, the corpse drops back on the ground and can be resummoned. If you dont notice and leave, it will no longer be available. That was an expensive lesson! :)
