Mushroom Pizza

Would I like mushroom pizza? I love pepperoni pizza (the number one topping on all pizzas everywhere!) and I was hoping for more of the same from other pizzas.
I heard that mushrooms are the second most popular topping, but I've never tried just mushroom pizza. Do you think I would enjoy it? I might just mix it up and go with mushroom AND pepperoni pizza, but that would be different than just one or the other wouldn't it? Cheese is right out. If I wanted a cheese pizza, I would just get the cheese sticks with my pepperoni pizza. For all you haters that don't enjoy pizza, don't even feel the need to comment here! |

Mushroom pizza is great! But I like it more when it's with cheese, tomato sauce, ham & mushrooms. (Capricciosa) It's like the only pizza I eat. *YUM* I want pizza now. Damn you! ;P

Mushrooms sauteed in garlic butter until slightly soft and unctuous, spread the delicious buttery juice gently over a freshly made and tossed piece of pizza dough, liberally topped the mushrooms and of course with mozzarella (buffalo)
Some fresh herbs and baked in a traditional wood fired oven. Or pop it in your regular one if you don't have the wood fired thing (dead easy to make in the garden from sand and clay if you are so inclined) Mmmmm. Those who beat their swords into ploughshares, will plough for those who have not.

Mushrooms are awesome, on pizza, by themselves, on other food, or even dried and ingested before say concerts or movies.
Actually my favorite pizza is Pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives with extra cheese. Ohhh my poor arteries!! .....And that's all I have to say about that.
