It is 100% related to other players. I thought I was alone with this problem, but now I can see a lot of other players have it even with powerful PC setups.

So the reason I'm pretty sure it is other players that affect perfomance (most likely their MTX) is as follows:

1) When i'm alone in the zone/map it loads ok-ish (still slower than in 3.26 but managable at least). However, the moment you go Rogue Harbour/Party with 6 ppl/Act Town it loads several minutes every time.

2) Had twice already this bug - Infinite loading into Untained/Coward's Trial. I hear other people skills etc, but i'm unable to load the instance (although my character is in that instance, I only see loading screen). The moment the person that cause this loading bug leaves the instance, the location loads for me just fine). Again, happened only twice since league launch, and I ran dozens maps in party with other people, so I can't tell - is it specific MTX that cause it or is it completely random. But it has to be related to other players somehow.

Anyway, 7 hotfixes and GGG doesn't even adress this issue at all. Tried changing renderers, drivers, verify game files etc, nothing works. It's not on our side it seems.

That is why I stopped partaking in 4040 Challenge sharing:


- Posted Unique map for completion. Invited all. Entered portal. Loading screen for ~4 minutes, till people completed the map and left. Loading screen ended after everyone left the map.

- Tried to join somebodies share on 4040, never got it because I got stuck in loading screen to their hideout. Did not even make it into the map.

anyone found a solution or did tripple G say something aknowledging about this problem? Still loading couple minutes for towns and some hideouts.

no, they are playing the usual silent radio when it comes to performance through the years it has been the same when it comes to this delicate topic

it has gotten slightly better but there's still not even fully rendering or loading sometimes.

Welcome to the reason GGG should not have sold out to Tencent. Hell, PoE 2 didn't even need made. We had a perfectly good game already.

Bad decisions on top of bad decisions, yet we, as players are no more than cockroaches to them, even if we spend our hard earned money supporting this.

I recall we were promised transparancy and communication, but here we are, put in the back closet, while they just sit silently laughing, hoping the problem disappears on its own.

I imagine this post will be censored just like any other I post, because it is the truth, and that hurts them. I encourage all who see this to take a screenshot, and use it as a future reference when PoE has problems.

+1 still taking forever to load. Please fix.

This is happening to me too, im getting 5 min load screens going into towns. I was playing the merc league up until the shutdown and the loading times were fine.
