" Isn't that exactly what Ruthless is for? GGG already provides a way to play with reduced loot for the players that like it. The others, that don't play Ruthless, want a decent amount of loot. Why is that so hard to understand? |

You think loot is bad on PC....Try playing console where every thing cost 100 times more.....I see items on PC for 4c costing 4 div on console......This loot nerf is ridiculous.

What? It's an ARPG. Literally all of your power is derived from gear. This gear is either directly found ON THE GROUND or "crafted" through 20+ steps of RNG gambling. Clearly the devs don't want decent gear to be directly found ON THE GROUND, so we are left with "crafting" using currency. So where is the currency? Transmutation and alteration orbs? The POE playerbase (both of them) has become so apologetic and divorced from what makes an enjoyable ARPG that it blows my mind. This take is wild from the perspective of a 0.1% player.
They have made the game more approachable for casuals consistently the past few leagues including this one. The floor gets raised and the roof gets lowered. .~*sweep is the meta*~.

The ONLY problem with loot is that people feel like they are "entitled" to better items than they get.
For MOST builds (and I don't think that's an exaggeration), you can have your power fantasy and cruise through almost all content......on less a divine total cost. Consider that SSF players are able to clear damn near the same content that trade league players are, in the same short amount of time. How are they able to do this? You barely need more than a t1/t2 fracture and a screaming essence on all your gear to get through even some juicy t16 content....for every build. Possibly not even the fracture. The problem is people "expect" gear on the level of the advertised gear on the build guide they follow, or fail to create a well rounded build and get trounced far earlier than they COULD have with a better build. They have no concept or understanding of mid tier gear, or even further gradations of gear upgrades. It isn't the loot that is the problem: its the player. You can see this in the responses from the majority of loot complainers. Their descriptions of not being able to fuel the crafting process....is wrong and based on mirror tier crafting, and NOT all the rest of the crafting that can give significant power and value. Their descriptions of "required power" to complete content is....wrong by multiple tiers of magnitude. Their descriptions on viable skills is....wrong. Etc. What is also pretty frequently glossed over is that, even if more loot were to drop, the same complainers would continue to complain. They wouldn't SUDDENLY become crafters because they can now find enough materials....no...they'd still be shopping on the market for items well above what they need, and those items would be correspondingly MORE expensive because MORE loot = more inflation = higher prices. I kind of agree with people thinking loot is worse but I don't think it's to the point that it needs to be fixed right away. However I would like to see wombs more common then what they are now and probably reduce the cost of high level ones. Having to farm 3 hive fortress for one womb that costs all your juice just isn't fun imo. I try farming ossuary for a bit for low lvl wombs and they are pretty rare even in a zone I can clear in like 1 min.

buffing wombs would do absolute anything.. now if you mean reduce the cost of ilvl 83 wombs and increase their drops then we might be on to something. It's currently 2 maps for 1 womb use at t16 unless you're getting a fortress every single map the rule of 2 is still there with the current cost of ilvl 83 wombs
Not to mention that it's absolute out of the question to buff the tree considering that they nerfed (but they are saying they didn't) on the first week some of the passives "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure." Poe 0.2/10 Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league.
