Path of Exile: Keepers of The Flame - Bloodline Ascendancy Classes

"
Wow, some people will be happy (probably) and everyone else is shaking their head in total amazement. You couldn't just have one person spend a month or two rebalancing skill gems and we would all be happy?????? Facepalm.

This is one of the thoughts raging through my mind.... but yet, they wouldnt even get that right either. the dev's are totally detached outside of meta build nerfing.

That's just... sad. Nothing special. I guess the most fun we get from this league is the hands that give little buffs.

Side note, I just want to be able to leech mana as a spell caster man... attacks can leech, mana on hit, and have mods like "No mana doesn't prevents attacks" but self caster get what? Its either mana flask, mana stacking hiero, or Eldritch Battery. Thought these special bloodlines would give something for casters but absolutely nothing. 95% of the players are going RF, Wanders or Slams.

Self cast is a joke
PC LOAD LETTER - WTF is that?

Seriously why are these Ascendancies?

Make them a bonus tree for actually engaging in that content if you so chose to better your character in end game, without having to invest mirrors. Give 2 points for free, and the option to invest addition points if you so choose.

Remove the downsides, they add nothing to gameplay and just make it not worth doing.

Your time would have been better spent taking a look at the skills and ascendancies that no one plays and making them playable, which would actually improve the game.

A+ on trade implementation!
I think the last bloodline will be from the new breach boss. This bloodline will have three special sockets for special breach jewels you can create from the breach tree (the Mystic Branch).

So you can create your own Bloodline Ascendancy Class.
I think several of these look quite interesting... but the problem I have is that the *really* interesting ones are build defining, and yet I have to go beat an endgame boss to unlock them.

Unless these unlocks are account wide, you're basically eliminating a bunch of builds from SSF, and making boss services mandatory for those same builds in trade.

Or is the intention that people make a fully functioning build on the same base class, and then do a full respec after killing the boss?

If so, I really hope you lowered the gold respec cost by TONS. Lately the trend has been to punish respecs of high level characters (MASSIVE gold cost, reduced drop rate of regret orbs, etc), and now you've made a mechanic that seems to be specifically designed around respecing high level characters.

Keep in mind that the actual respec points aren't the only cost either. You often need many new gear pieces as well.

If I'm wrong and the unlocks are account wide (within the specific league+mode, obviously), then I'll celebrate, but that seems super unlikely to me.
please rework every single one of these horrible options, this mechanic was so cool buts its doa before league even drops.

why does farruls bloodline have zero interaction with cats stealth

0/10 pleaase put back in oven

the more i think about it the less good i feel about following the merc league with this...

i'm gonna largely ignore the bloodlines and what's left is breach 2.0. a mechanic we already had with some additions. minus my merc. this is gonna feel so bad. waited half a year for this maaaaaan.

With specific downside, many of these "ascendancies" are far too weak, work similarly to allocate a keystone which only consumes 1 passive point rather than 2 ascendancy points.

Till now, the only points worth investing in are two "action speed cannot be slowed below base value" from farrul and Aul. And for relic of the pact build, Aul's one is fantastic, although this build is not good for many conditions.

Many of them are even waste 2 points and suffer a great loss, or just meaningless.
Primal roar: only 80% inc and you even need to warcry.
Sinner saint: do you know why no one use avatar of fire?
Hallucinogenic tendencies: Without good cooldown, aoe and low copy's life, it looks more like a trap ascendancy.
Prolonged servitude: get 1 medium cluster with the cost of 2 acsandancy points.
Death offering: do you want to kill yourself?
The king's might/heritage/contempt: with 100-150% or higher aura effect value, I'd love to take it into consideration. But now it provides approximately 30-40% power of 2 ascendancy points. And -3 maximum charge is something you should never consider, totally a loss of your build.

For armour stackers, frenzy charges provide far larger dps than 50% grace effect.

For damage reduction, 50% grace doesn't change anything, include normal build with some evasion and armour stacker.

League bosses are far weaker than 84 endgame ones. The only problem is the admission ticket.

But who want these trash ascendancies, which even waste 2 of your valuable ascendancy points.
The vast majority of the feedback is negative, devs should take 1 more week and redo these bloodlines. At this point I don't think is too much to ask, we already learned to wait.
