Console Trade Market Update

Huge L. Mark said that we would be keeping all forms or trading currently in the game. All you needed to do was add the asynchronous trade into the trade board. Instead we have to try and use a controller to search for an item. I love spending 15min to filter 4 mods only to have half of them be the "wrong" version of that mod.

I mean, there is a website access as well, if you have any kind of tablet or laptop or anything.

And I'm sure the in-game interface will get some improvements as more people use it.

Assuming it's the same as the PoE2 one, it already has some huge advantages over the Trade Market. (in addition to the drawbacks you mentioned)

Are they paying you to praise the new marketing system everywhere? If I need a laptop to check the price of every item, we won't be playing on a console but on a PC. Async is the most impractical innovation. With more thsn 7k hours playing im on my way to quit.

No, I'm not a shill.

I *really* hated all the scamming that the old trade market offered (much of which could be done anonymously so there were never any consequences), and Async fixed all that.

It has also led to a huge number of other improvements in the trade experience.

Does it have flaws? For sure.

Can most of those flaws be fixed? I believe so.

They just need to work on the in-game interface, and give us back the old two-button Lookup feature, and we'll be like 90% of the way there.

OTOH, even if they never fix any of that, I'd still choose the existing flawed implementation of Async over the old trade market all day, every day.
