The most unwarranted nerf and undeniable proof that GGG method of nerfing is just to what is popular > nerf.

Slam and melee got significant rework and buff in Settler league, including Snaking. But the meta bois choose Lightning Strike.

3.26 > The expected outcome, Lightning Strike nerfed. But slam still the same, including Snaking. Then streamers started to play Snaking, with a berserker (LMAO). So of course alot of Zerker + Snaking + USING TWO-HANDED AXE. While Slayer was actually the best choice for slam build both in settler and mercenary of thratus, and eventuality rod is the best in slot weapon for slam.

3.27 > Snaking nerfed. Obviously because it was popular LOL. And the thing that got nerfed is the frigging MAIN FEATURE on why choosing Volcanic Fissure of Snaking instead of regular Volcanic Fissure or other slams.



My dude, snaking was broken. It needed a nerf, nothing else came close.

Dont see the reason why they nerf builds like golems, since where is the last time you seen that someone melted uber bosses with golem builds, or even tier 16 maps bosses? There is handful of people who enjoy such builds and you nerf build that already struggles to compete for mediocre damage + effective life pool is nothing to be proud of. Dont know if those changes are made to bait people to complain for more comment algorithm, or you actually think it was 'good' idea.


They nerfed buff effect, which was abused like hell this league, do you even play?

I agree about saboteur and I´d wish they buffed trap sabo as well, which nobody plays.

I feel like the person who designed the servant of arakali and the other classes from Legacy of Phrecia should have reworked the assassin and saboteur ect, because he knew what he was doing and made some really fun and interesting classes. A bit op perhaps but fun.

The rework to assassin just feels like it was done in a rush because it´s very mediocre, but that´s just my opinion.

Kinda agree : most Shadows ascended to Trickster - not bc it was OP but bc Assassin was a bit lackluster and Saboteur is just too niche.


The most used ascendancy on Ninja. The trickster is absolutely OP. The nerf is fair.

Most shadows ascended to it because the other two are trash, not because it is OP.
And it became the most used only after the 4th week of the league, and not by a big margin(if it really is OP, the diff was gonna be bigger than it was), but only because a build or two that was spread because of streamers.
Now they changed some things on assassin, that was the least used class in the game, but saboteur that was the 2nd least used got a change in... 10% cooldown recovery??? LMAO
Starting to look like poe2 patch notes. Knew better than to have hope when Jonathan showed up on stream.
It's kinda funny how I still am going to play trickster because its just too good for T17s with all the affixes they can roll. Hope the nerf bat reaches all who deserve it in 3.28 amen

you realize it was only OP because of doryanis right ?
you also maybe realize its not trickster thats op, its int stacking gear, ppl just gonna use the next best thing and do the same shit ..
trickster was just good for running risk on t16.5 or t17 because it can do alot of map mods. (slow/stun etc for example)
also trickster isnt even nerfed on the high end, ppl with 3k int and insane gear can still play trickster with 30k+ es and be unkillable .. the nerf only affects "poor guys"

the real problem is some of the insane crafting you can do nowadays, like specially all this crazy stat stacking gear, if you have 3k int it literally dosnt even mather anymore what ascandancy you are, you could literally play the worst ascandancy like assasin and still faceroll everything.

tldr: ppl still gonna roll trickster once they have insane gear .. nothing changed.
