Mob aimbot skills.

SSF

Aoe skills that aimbot are bad. They are also used intermittently, so theres unpredictability behind them.

For instance the act one boss ice lasers, lol. They are not aimbotting.

The blood lasers, I don't know what its called, its like the ice but looks like blood. The act one boss does this too, but I'm thinking about what essence rares do- those aimbot.

Lightning storms aimbot. Yet the lightning shrines do not.

The behavior should all be the same, and none of it should be targeting where the character is. Perhaps using the character as a target, in which it then drops random targets in an area- but not right on the literal location of the character.

It should also be a slightly larger aoe, thats basically what lighting storm does now- but its terrible.

Automated aimbot skills become predictable and repetitive. Both qualities that you do not want in a game. Well, kinda. lol

What is optimal?

An optimal lightning storm is one that targets a zone around the rare. Very large, then strikes happen at random throughout that zone. Its not targeting the player at all. Its exactly how a shrine behaves actually.

So, there we go, all these sorts of attacks should behave like the shrine implementation. Thats fun, its reactive.

Gamers LOVE reactive. Gamers love skill expression.

We HATE, moving on a timer every 2 seconds because we know the lightning storm is about to drop exactly on our location. Another one, another one... its stupid- its robotic, its brainless.

Bumping my own post.

Just fought another lighting storm mob long enough it became annoying. 1, 2, 3, 4 lightning... 1, 2, 3, 4 lightning... 1, 2, 3, 4 lightning...

Bleh. Instantly gets old.
