" Well, it looks like some of the mercenaries will remain, I hope it's something completely secondary and that they don't make mercenaries the main source of damage like in this league, it has to be entirely secondary and not force anyone to use them... And when I say main source of damage, I mean it, most builds this league barely dealt any damage without a mercenary; they were the ones boosting your damage. If they want to keep them as part of the core, it needs to be properly balanced, because it’s not fair to have to use them by force just to have any damage. On the other hand, I wouldn’t be surprised if GGG starts doing things many players don’t want (there are a lot of people who dislike mercenaries, but those who enjoy having them are very vocal and make themselves heard the most). If people start leaving POE, they’ll move to POE2, and I think that’s something GGG is quite interested in. We’ll see how long it takes before POE goes into maintenance leagues... Can't wait for new and improved Synthesis mechanic, removal of old recomb, nerfing of RF (too op, my grandpa never plays any other build), revamped ascendancies, and bow buffs. Oh, and new divine resistance that doesn't affect you this league, but next league there will be a small mob that randomly one-shots you with it.
