Enter the Excavation Bug POE2

After defeating the First Herald the cutscene afterwards glitched and now I cannot enter the excavation site which is preventing me from progressing the story.

I have waited for the area to reset, this has made no difference as the door is still closed and no option to progress is given.

Can you fix this.
