Latency spikes for some instances

since a few days I am experiencing latency spikes. The spikes do not appear in every instance. They are independent from the map (including hideout/towns). Entering a different instance of the same map can come without the spikes. I have also excluded more general network problems. This behaviour is specific for the loaded instance of a map in the POE2 game client. I encounter two different kinds of spikes. In irregular intervals, ranging from <1s to about 3s, there are short jumps from <50ms to approx. 200ms. Every few minutes there is massive lag of around 60s (seconds, not milliseconds). These laggy instances seem to appear more likely/frequent at evening. I speculate, that sometimes new instances are assigned to overloaded CPUs/Cores.
