"Deadly" Bosses Are Crap

Once again I'm hating fighting bosses in this game. Why can't this company ever seem to design bosses that are challenging.. and fair? I really don't get it. Am I expected to remember the mechanics of 200 different bosses that I may or may not run into at any given time within the next few months? You guys need to start making mechanics in the game that require skill but not specific memorization.. two of these in a row where I have no idea why or even how I died and no way of knowing what I could have done to improve with a character with 80% of talents in defenses. Who are these made for? Seriously...

they make everyone kill bosses now so we have to swap to 1-shot dead build

In my opinion, it's actually a good thing that we're constantly encountering bosses now. There aren't really that many of them, and they're varied, which is interesting. After all, we've been spending hundreds of hours on this game, so it's worth spending at least a little time learning the mechanics. And yes, I get really annoyed when I get one-shot, but it makes defeating bosses more enjoyable when you understand what you need to do.
more and harder bosses, and harder exiles are the only redeeming qualities of this copy-pasta patch.

had fun with every boss and a brawl with an exile that abused dodge roll- that was actually fun
This would be good if it rewarded building more into defenses so even the zoomiest blasters would need to care about it. In the current state of the game it just makes you want to go full glass cannon because the damage you can get is so insane you can insta delete everything. I hope with time they find the proper balance but this aint it

All this. It's why I love the campaign so much and hate end game. In the campaign combat is a back and forth and you are setting things up. it feels earned and rewarding. End game really after about level 92 it's just fill screen with different colors, colors kill mobs, pick up loot or...oops one of mobs colors got you somewhere in all the other colors. You are dead. Try again. It's like two different games. Campaign feels almost like a MMORPG and end game feels like a high level map in Vampire Survivors, only Vampire Survivors is slower and more methodical by comparison.
harder bosses are good if they are well designed

If everything just boils down to "every ability oneshots" thats stupid (i still prefer it over boring loot pinatas though)
Hardly my biggest criticism but it does suck always being one shot with no expectations of surviving a hit. Plus with them needing evasion I have even less expectations to survive. Though I don't die often it's kind of annoying that it's less of a combat challenge and more of a who hits who first game

Also the boss drops are worse than pre-patch. Getting more tired loot which is good but I used to get decent currency drops and those have dried up entirely it seems.

I was a little annoyed at the time I put this I just want to try and provide a little better feedback. There's so much cool shit about the bosses. The art is great, they have a variety of mechanics, it's a beautiful game no doubt.. There's just something clearly very wrong with them that's probably out of my range of expertise. I've farmed a ton of currency and I have 80 div or so sitting in my stash. I could probably make a character that would trivialize them completely just so I guarantee the loot but I don't even care about that. I feel this is a very complex game with a lot ways to spend time that is interesting and engaging. I love this game, and I think that's why some of these experiences bother me so much. It confuses me how something could be so great one second then another I'm just sitting here like.. the blip was that?! Someone made a comment about boring loot piñata. When your forced to make a character that trivializes all mechanics just to complete them that's exactly what they will be. Or people like me who have no interest in doing that will just be disappointed. Clearly a lot of work went into making these bosses, they are unique and a high point of the game entirely. But they really need some tuning or something idk. It should be clear to me when I make a mistake. Not a boss that covers the entire arena with particles that 1 or 2 shot my very expensive and tanky character at like 2 attacks per second where I have to move out of the way to avoid something and able to attack maybe once for every two of their attacks. Anyway thanks for reading my short story.

Deadly AND powerful bosses are crap, especially with certain mods like +70% monster life and stun threshold. I fixed it. I removed my boss points in atlas, not all of them but like 3 +1 to bosses diff. I only see them as a way to finish the map. Nothing else. Even if you fight him for 5 minutes, they drop a div one time per year. I dont want these assholes to ruins my lvl progression 3-4 times per days.
