0.3.1 Hotfix

Hey GGG, this is hands down the worst patch yet. Loot feels terrible, and those annoying tablets are a nightmare to manage. We have to carry them constantly, they have barely any use, and we’re forced to keep switching them—only to get the same disappointing rewards. At the very least, give us a dedicated Tablet Tab.

Despite loving PoE2, the shift in how rare items are obtained has made the grind feel slower and less rewarding. In the past, you could stumble upon powerful gear through exploration and clever farming. Now, with the emphasis on boss fights—especially elemental based Bosses become more rigid and punishing for certain builds.

Bloodspark builds? They shred bosses like paper.

But for melee, trap, or niche caster builds, boss mechanics can be brutal, and the loot often doesn’t justify the effort.

The fun used to be in the chase—finding something rare in the wild, not just grinding through scripted fights and carrying Tablets. That spontaneity is what made PoE feel alive. As of now i dont find stuff and must go back to crafting to earn currency.


waiting for GGG official pronouncement about this ATT, game is broken. Not gonna run my maps in there.

This 0.3.1 patch was a mistake. I like the buffed bosses tablet despite the shit loot but that's it. Bad ideas and changes, imo.

I wish the team would revert it back to 0.3.0.

The endgame map sucks. 3.1 was worse, but the whole map idea sucks. Make it a real map.
Please, please. please add rare monster icons back. This change is the worst L ever.

So many crybaby complains lol. Hey of course, nerfing loot is painful AF.

0.3.1 was a good step in improving the game. Just new tablet system should be pushed further, instead of 3 slots, use 4 tablets, and make them AT LEAST 20% more powerful. ( this gives max 48%IIQ which feels normal at this point, i mean 30% QUANT IS UNREASONABLY LOW)

I agree rare monster icons have to come back, its pointless/brainless to remove them.

at least, I would really like to notice a rare mob before it dies instantly.
no icons is killing the adventure.


So I really hope GGG are waiting for people to use all their old 4 towers farms, and then they can double the power of new tablets.
I sadly agree with alot of people here,

before patch 0.3.1 : 1 divine every 5 juiced maps
after patch : no divine after 15-20 juiced maps

I feel like i'm playing for nothing..

By far the worst the performance has been since EA launched, the game is basically unplayable at the moment.

Zero revive maps coupled with awful performance is a recipe for disaster.

Otherwise great update.
Ive done nothing but die to Abyss bosses on my Merc since the patch. What have you done? I guess I will just play the game as intended and avoid everything on the map except the actual boss, sounds boring.

No, that isn't the gameplay loop, Nice try though.

It wasn't a qol. You just want to degrade it to such to pretend its impact on gameplay didn't exist so that you can have an argument for adding them back. QoL doesn't impact gameplay, it improves a secondary system so that you can focus more on the gameplay. There is nothing to disagree with me about. I didn't state an opinion. I said they told us they were going to remove them and why in their video. I stated a fact.
