Something about "Mirror service"

Hi everyone:

I need some help.

I'm trying as hard as I can to finish my Occultist's Forbidden Rite of Soul Sacrifice endgame gear, my next step, and hopefully the final one, is the following ring.



I've started playing not so long ago, and my newbie knowledge doesn't reach this far.
I whisped that person to make an offer quite lower than a Mirror of Kalandra. Said person explained to me that this item is for a "Mirror service" which means the actual price is 1 Mirror of Kalandra (for the service of mirroring) and 250 Divines as a flat fee. Otherwise, purchasing that same ring would be around 10 Mirrors.

That being said, the transaction would be the following: I give that person 1 Mirror and 250 Divines to fulfill operation requirements, and then that person would duplicate item and then give it to me.

I'm wondering: is this a scamm? If it is not... is there any guarantee that after giving all my currency this person doesn't disappear, and if so, is there any way to make a complaint to recover all icurrency lost?

I'm sorry if this question is hurtfully newbie, but such investment requires soooo much time of saving currency, and i wouldn't appreciate being scammed this way.

P.S: there are a very few persons that offer many of these kind of full perfect roll rings for Mirror service... ultra rich people or... suspicious?

Echo is a trusted shop, you're good. 250 is a bit much for a fee in my opinion. There's always the Settle Shop you could check out too.

Echo is legit, and that is how mirror service works.

Keep in mind, it is a nice gesture to tip the service provider, as the person responding to and completing the mirror service is usually not the power of the item or recipient of the fee. (not required)

I serviced both of these items from the Echo shop with no issues.

250 may be higher than a lot of stuff on settle shop, but it is like half of current TFT fees.

This was for FRoSS but never serviced.

pretty nice ring, but i didn craft the ones i shared, was just saying to OP that I mirrored those off Echo without any issues/complaints.

Ohhh, I thought you meant you put them up for service with Echo. I just assumed you had copies of your crafts.

Both, the echo and the settle shop are the go-to shops for mirror stuff with a solid reputation.

Additionally there are some smaller streamers doing community crafting for their builds. Those ones also have a solid reputation and often end up with a close to zero fee but aren't available towards the end of a league.

Yeah that's how it works unfortunately.
