Give me back the old towers; they are just trash now with nothing of value in them. Why bother doing a tower map when it is now no different from making progress into the fog of war? Let me still use the towers to empower the maps in the area, just like before, but block the use of tablets on the maps in the area. Additionally, reduce the effect of the tablets so they are not as powerful when multiple towers overlap.
Give me back the ability to kill all the rare monsters to complete the map. Killing map bosses on every map to make progress through the atlas sucks. Every map needing to kill map bosses to get to new areas is not going to increase the fun of the atlas, it's going to get boring faster than ever before. Map bosses work in POE 1 because you only have to kill the bosses once, then you never have to think about killing them again. If I get stuck on a map boss on the atlas, there is nothing I can do to get past that map now, so my progress through the atlas stops there. In POE 1, this doesn't matter because you can still get the maps past the map that you can't finish, allowing you to still make progress. |

" I enjoyed having a reason to explore the end game node map. Having to look for towers was a part of the adventure, now it is just a meaningless map to traverse. Completing a way stone in less than 5 minutes was never an issue and GGG already had a solution of making the maps smaller. What are you playing the game for if not kill things? Now it goes back to a single target boss gameplay mechanic making single target damage the most important factor of every build. The tablets are now a limited function per way stone taking away the stackable function altogether and making it more of a chore instead of an exciting element of the game. One thing that sucks is that the experience gain tablets have now gone up in price to an absurd amount. 10xp tablets have gone from 1-5 exalts to a minimum of 10+ exalt. and 20xp tablets are now 2 div. before this patch I only needed to pay 6-30 exalts to get 60xp on my maps, now its 6 div. I call that a major fail. Seeing as those xp tablets are kinda a must have to level in maps after a certain point...

So... still no addressing that Spell Cascade and Spell Echo have no effect what so ever on Lightning Bolt despite being able to socket them and tags matching?
