My HC-character OdmanRangerHC just reverted to non-hc league when portaling to Act 2 city

Yeah so.. I had started a new toon and was blasting through Act 2.
I killed the Halani Gates spear boss half-way through the map. Portal to town, and my character had switched leagues. There has been some lags this morning so dunno if this is related to that. --- After just dying in maps to some weird abyssal physical dot thing (almost instantly while having 65% armour damage reduction) or whatever this realllyy sucks.
