Iron Citadel Changes to Copper or Stone When Map Connects

Anytime I connect to my Iron Citadel when traveling to it, It changes from the Iron Citadel to a Stone or Copper Citadel and then moves the Iron Citadel farther into the fog. At first I thought i saw it wrong but then it happened a 2nd time so then i took screenshots to confirm i was not losing my mind.
