Howling cawerns starting checkpoint teleports you in fron of boss room

After unlocking starter checkpoint i died, than get spawned in front of boss room, after i wanted to go near start waypoint, i used checkpoint near boss to teleport to checkpoint at the start of map but it teleports me to checkpoint near boss room.
