Path of exile 2 bug - Shared screen mode Xbox serie X bug (maybe all consoles)

I was playing PoE2 with my son on a 2nd controller when some bugs occured. He was using my end game character as player 2. I couldn't interact with some quests (couldn't put the sacrificial heart on the altar, couldn't open temple of kopec's door and couldn't pass throught act 4 town gate at the beginning of act 4)

All I had to do to bypass those bugs was to go to character selection screen, log solo, do the bugged step, then log back as 2 players.

It's not game breaking bug but it's a lot of manipulation that could have been avoided.

I assumed it all happened because player 2 had those quests done, could be wrong tho.
