Potential bug with the New tower systems

I thought of a potential abuse with the switching of new tablet mechanics.

If I slot in the tablet into a tower that lets me rerun maps but removes the irradiated status of a map to let me rerun it, right now before the new system goes live, and then after the new tablet system goes live, I could keep applying the irradiated status with tablets to the map themselves to keep running something like jade isles forever.
