POE 2 Omen of Sinistral Necromancy Bug

I attempted to use this omen twice for two separate crafts to get only prefix modifiers on my desecration attempts but both times I saw suffixes and prefixes and the omen was not consumed... please fix if possible... thanks

To ask:
Was the omen activated in your inventory before desecrating the item with the applicable currency item and not just when revealing it at the Well of Souls? |
