Undying Hate Passive "Creature of Magic" does not work

I am using an Undying Hate jewel with "Creature of Magic" allocated. I am not seeing the "Damage Taken Recouped as Mana" stat on my character screen increase at all no matter how many tribute nodes I allocate. Unknown if the restoring mana on kill portion of the jewel functions at this time.

Update: This turns out to just be a tooltip issue, I'm going to guess it has something to do with varying amounts of tribute so it isn't accurately portrayed on the character stat screen.
