That's a good direction alright, having more control over what to juice on what layout, not having to traverse to Towers and having more consistency and QoL!

The boss on each map is a far better goal to have for completion than fullclearing all rares as well. I don't need POE 2 to be POE 1, but heck I like the way GGG are finally moving in the direction of more player choice when it comes to gameplay, what to juice and what to do. Being dictated that stuff was what made me not want to play much endgame until now, and having more agency for the player is a good thing :)

... now if you just made ingame trade searches NOT reset on changing zone or hideout, I would really appreciate THAT too :D

Modifiers that cause the area to be covered in Chilled/Shocking/Ignited Ground now cause much less ground to be covered. At least 66% of the ground effects currently covering the ground will be removed, this value is higher on lower tier

About bloody time, now if I could only get the game to stop disconnecting every 20 to 30 mins I'd be doing cartwheels...


id rather dc then SEA servers be 5k to 20k pinging me erratically.

Just a guy with a long-running history with aRPGs that is giving POE2 a try.

Good. Maybe by 1.0 we'll see original atlas mechanic.
2027 year: PoE2 integrate to PoE1. PoE1 story - legacy and prelude for 1-2 hour.

1. Reduce the atlas size. Make maps traversable, like in PoE1.
2. Make normal-grade gems and waystones stackable in chests so they don't take up space.
3. Make characters more maneuverable when sprinting and allow them to step over small obstacles.
4. Optimize and ping on EU servers in the evenings!

I know how toys in cot poe players can be but please keep in mind this is ggg's band-aid fix to what people don't like about the endgame, and look how amazing it is already. This won't be the final form of mapping, but its a huge win in the meantime.
Great changes... the best endgame currently is Poe 1, and there's no reason not to use Poe 1 as an example!!

If the 6 portals on all maps returned, I'd play a lot more than I do Poe 2.

With the current system, I always look for the meta build for the endgame, haha. I think this portal system affects build diversity, since if your build isn't meta, you're more likely to lose the harder maps =]
