So what will happen if you just don't kill the map boss on your favourite map lay-out? Would the node still be re-runnable and can be juiced again and again using tablets?
If yes, what would be the incentive for moving out of the atlas when you could do your farming strategy in just 1 - 3 nodes? |

Coming from someone who has 7 level 94+ on poe1 and 3 lvl90+ on poe2. I think were still going in the wrong direction here so let me give you my thought process. With the (removal) of towers were actually going to get way less juice because of how the map system works. They are removing overlaping map juice. They are lowering density which in return is reducing juice.
What should have been done: Leave towers alone, instead add a secondary juice option (Scarabs -> drop from abyss content) And these [Placeholder] get used the same way your attempting to use tablets now. Also with the perma tablet rotation youre going to hurt the value of tablets (was a good money maker for me this season). In return rituals just got hard nerfed. Rip uniqie ritual with 20%tribute + 10% free rerolls + 30% reduce tribute deferal cost. RIP fat maps Hello Unicorn Level. |

" I don't have any hate. I simply don't derive enjoyment from the idler style non-gameplay that PoE1 offers, where everything devolves into just holding one button and zooping across the screen while everything instantly dies, requiring no effort or even attention from the player. It's boring. PoE1 is boring, and plays like an idler instead of an arpg. The so called "rivalry" as you put it comes from the fact that PoE1 and 2 are supposed to have two different target audiences. Nearly nothing about PoE 1 should be ported to PoE 2 because they things that make PoE1 fans PoE1 fans are for a different audience. The things the target audience of PoE1 one would want would make any game worse for the target audience of PoE2. The things the target audience of PoE2 would want would make any game worse for the target audience of PoE1. "This" kind of gamer should play only PoE1, not PoE2, and "that" kind of gamer should play only PoE2, not PoE1. People got caught up in the fact 2 is a narrative sequel and are trying to play both games, even though only one of the two is meant for them, and this "rivalry" conflict stems from people who are not a games target audience trying to play a game that isn't meant for them. PoE 1 has gotten complaints from 2 players who "went back to play the first game", and 2 has gotten complaints from 1 players "went to play the sequel", as if it was a continuing series to play through. It's not. And now the people of each game are trying to stop the people of the other game from making things worse. It's like if you had a forum full of both Cyberpunk players and Call of Duty players arguing about how to make a good fps. |

Aren't tablets almost like scarabs at this point then? Just remove the tablets/towers and give us scarabs for better / more consistant endgame :D
