Trial of Chaos - Heart Tether Bug

I was running a trial of chaos in Path Of Exile 2, one of the options was heart tethers. In one of the "waves" "rooms" the objective was to get soul cores and place them in the central altars. As I went to place the shard I got hit by an enemy the animation was going when the hit happened. I then was no longer able to place the core. Thinking that the core was reset to its original position me and my friend who was on their roa mount went towards the cores original position. He was faster so I dodged rolled back as he went through me on his roa as a heart tether spawned. I then got locked into a half complete dodge roll animation with the core still on my characters back according to my friend. I was lossing HP from the core while not being able to move or anything, my friend was able to push me around on his roa but I was not able to move or act during that time.
