Lost quest reward from Alva due to full inventory

I have just reached arc 4 whereby I needed to talk with Alva to finish my quest. When I had no space in my inventory to accept the quest reward, I opened my inventory to drop some things. Alva then walked away and now I can’t get the item. What can I do now?
