can't open maps im my own hidout while in party peo2

im in a party with my friend and we decided to run different maps instead of running together to do different content types (we used to do it in poe1 when our characters are good for different mechanics). but here I cant open maps in the map device when he's the party leader, even though its in my own hidout.

honestly idk if this is a bug or not but it doesnt make sense that we cant each run our different maps while in a party together

only party leader can open maps, i know, its stuppid...
