SOLVED: Character broken (not loadable)

The game booted me to login while i was doing a map. When i logged in and tried to load the character again i was kicked out to login again during load. Have been trying on and off for over an hour now just to be kicked out to login over and over again. All my other characters work fine just not this one. I suspect the character is bugged. Is there anything that can be done to bring the character back to life or am i forced to reroll the character? I am not keen to start over and will most likely wait until next league before i do that.

Ctrl+click on "play" select to respawn in town/hideout. There is also supposed to be a button on the character selection screen to do this.

Edit: the button is to the right of the character name.

Sorry, i forgot to mention it's PoE 2 and there is no such button, nor ctrl+click play. But it solved itself after almost 2 hours. So i am fine for now.
