endgame Jade Isles map opening a different map

I found a jade isles map right next to a tower / corrupted nexus. I unlocked the tower and put in 3 tablets, the corrupted nexus said activation failed, when I was trying to use a t15 5 mod map, tried a 6 mod map, wouldn't work. so I went to unlock the jade isles map, and when I opened the jade isles, the map name that opened said stronghold and indeed wasn't jade isles, I just ran through clearing and killed the prisoner at the end, wasting a chance at some big profits.
