The Last Lament Crossbow + ES Depletes = Last Lament RELOAD

At first, I thought that the "Convalesence" skill is cauing the "Last Lament" crossbow to reload, but no.
When my ES depletes, the Last Lament doesn't fire rapidly anymore, it starts to reload after every single shot with Galvanic Shards (tested it woth other skills too, it is the same issue).
Making my character to die is the only option to fix it for now, but when my ES depletes again, the same isse happens.

Please devs, fix this.
