Jonathan, I still think you should stick to your vision (or: this game has become too easy)

I played every league, first the overpowered ice strike monk, then the overpowered lighting spear.

For this league, I wanted to go off-meta. I played the melee-is-bad and armour-is-bad warrior/Titan. I was prepared to suffer. I was prepared to curse ggg. I was expecting to rage quit. But... this was the easiest campaign I had. And armour is so underrated, Im face rolling T16 +5 bosses.

It was a fun League. But it was just a more beautiful Poe 1 zoom zoom league for me. Gone is the meaningful combat. Gone is the incredible tension and fear to die from precious leagues. I still wish ggg would Stick to the original vision.

Indeed, there are many of us who wish for that, but I have a feeling it's not happening. Reddit may have won.

this game was always too easy. it started too easy. THe game is instantly balanced once they remove all the +Gem levels on gear. Shouldn't be able to have 5 on wand, 3 on offhand, 3 on neck, etc etc. Makes us waaaay too strong.

Streamers won.
They ruined D4 and POE2.

I have no idea why companies keep listening to these people who clearly do not want to play a video game and just want a chat room.

I think the problem is you are too good.
You will never be satisfied with your skill level.
I don't think this game is for you.

You should move on and try something else.
Something more aligned with your godlike gamer skills.

I agree with this, and I think it's the reason people think loot is bad. In 0.2, I rolled +4 to chaos skills on a wand when I was maybe level 16. Used that wand until I finished the campaign. Of course there's no gear progression when you luck into something OP.
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

Fine, as a zoom lover lets agree GGG was to stick to their slow combat vision.

Then remove Abyss, Breach, Ritual, Delirium and Expedition.

You can't have slow meaningful combat with 3 screens of mobs pop-ing instantly 3 screens around you.

Also i have no problem with slow meaningful combat, i have a problem with COMBO ATTACKS which is the exact opposite of slow and meaningful, it's just clunky.

To me, slow meaningful combat would be to dodge around a boss until i find an opening to quickly attack him with my main damage ability, not sit still and use 3 to 5 different abilities in a sequence to do damage and decide if i should interrupt my combo by dodging a fatal blow or finish my combo to kill him with offense instead of defense so i don't prolong the fight longer.

COMBO ATTACKS has nothing to do with "slow and meaningful", it's just bad bad clunky gameplay that messes up your quick dodge timings and holds you in place.

that's abit harsh dont you know those players are gods.....
they easily destroy the game while simultaneously watching chat on a 2nd monitor, eating popcorn and have superb vision. demonstrated by the ability to see through all the visual clutter even though an overlay obsures the screen....

oh umm...

This, especially Breach and Delirium.

The dream of having slow and tactical combat died the moment GGG implemented timed content to the game. You can't have slow combat when there are mechanics that are gear checks which punish you for not being able to meet.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley
