The black crow boss in map cant be hit and i cant leave the map.

no option in the escape menu to restart at a waypoint, as many have suggested in other posts. cant hit the boss but he can hit me. tried logging out and back in. tried logging out and giving it 5 mins and logging back in. still in the map, trapped. had to let him kill me and take an exp hit for it. Glad I'm not hardcore! happened at around 55% of his hp. think that's when he's supposed to run away and grab the bell etc, my character even said the line "get back here".
