lol, ok mate. I don't think there's a way to convince you. As for my definition of trash gear is stuff my character is wearing from the ground. No trading, no crafting, nothing. And of course, no guides, no meta builds, etc.

Anyway though, if you check the forums or elsewhere this is the state of the game.


Then you got lucky and found strong trash gear, because again, my fiance did the same and had a hard time finishing campaign. Just because you had an easy time doesn't mean everyone else is.

Also, I have checked the forums. There is just as many threads complaining that the game is too difficult as there are ones complaining that it's too easy.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

Ran invoker monk this league mainly & every boss pretty much died incredibly quick, to the point I skipped most/if not all mechanics. Was very underwhelming.
PoE2 is too easy, please make it harder.

If you think the campaign is easy, then perhaps you should stop running meta builds, and ask GGG to nerf them. Not everyone is running meta builds, and the current state of bosses ensures they don't have an excruciating experience getting through the campaign.

I ran through campaign with essence drain and summoner so far and I felt like the fights were still challenging. Hell, essence drain still feels balanced even in T4 pinnacle content.

This is a problem you created for yourself, and want to make it everyone else's.


I have played everything except mace and poison skills, and as others have said, the only time I could feel slowed down by a boss was when using ED/C. It definitely does not take a meta build to absolutely roll through the campaign. The only way to die in the current state of the game is either monkey, Faridun prince boss in interlude, or stacked damage mods on maps. Everything else including boss encounters are piss easy.

The campaing playthorugh in 0.1 and 0.2 is so different from 0.3 it seems like a different game. The maps (white, blue and yellow mobs) are ok tho, but bosses (even in endgame) feel bland and easy to take off.

I just did arbiter with decent self crafted gear (just +5 to all spells) and it was a chore, also with heavy investment in defenses... Even he couldn't cast the flame seeds or the corridors! That's just absurd. I incinerated him to death in 20 secs lol.
I loved act iv and it’s gameplay story and flow

But yea something is up with the bosses just being weak as hell this applies to the entire campaign too


You have to really not know what you are doing or intentionally gimp yourself to really enjoy any of the boss fights in the campaign

i could maybe get on board with making end game bosses harder but not the campaign ones. campaign is already a massive chore to do. a tedious slog. it doesn't need to be even more of a slog. try playing a normal build not LS deadeye and maybe you wont find campaign bosses so easy.
I'm loving 0.3 bosses personally.
