Set 2 ascendancy points in Trial of Chaos not awarded

I have just completed Trial of Chaos for the first time, using the Ultimatum, dropped by the Chimera boss. After I completed the trial, I went to the status to set my ascendancy points, but it didn't allow me to do so. There were just no points to allocate.
I have completed Trial of Sekhemas only once before that, which awarded me with the 1st set of points. Missing those points will result in a worse experience, and I will be handicapped.

Ok. So apparently, the points allocation from the statue was bugged. The points appeared in my skill tree, so I managed to distribute them there.
