Was there any anoucement but a Ladder Reset type thing?

I love PoE but will there be like a new permanent league? like a new ladder reset.

Sometimes game like these need one because after a few months or so, everyone has everything or most...

One reason why i play hardcore too.

Resetting the ladder would go against the "no more character wipes after Closed Beta" promise.

Instead, I think GGG plans to create 4-month leagues.

Not everyone has everything. I certainly don't and wouldn't want my characters wiped.

A ladder reset is not a wipe. Your characters are just moved to legacy league. I'd be in favor of a reset.

Yeah I was kinda expecting some sort of annual default league, which would be numbered, eg Default 1, Default 2, etc +1 each year. Basically the latest pool is seperated from every other league, but the previous leagues can be merged as they shrink...

no one is even 100 yet, think closest is like mid 60% into 99

Like how they did it in Beta

Were they move people to legacy league etc.

We'll i think they are still adding another act? or the rest of a act?

So you want people to keep playing like how D3 is right now?

In 1 year..... Look at how the eco is.

Everyone has everything.

That's what will happen to PoE if it never does a ladder reset like d2.

One other way to counter this problem beside reset, is to add new content every few months.

"New Acts" increase item lvls etc.

Moving all characters plus stashes out of their current league is practically the same as wiping them: all the "wealth" accrued can no longer be used in the standard (Default/Hardcore) leagues. why should part-time players start from scratch when Act3x, Act4 or any other act is released?

As per previous post, GGG will most likely solve your issue by creating 4 month leagues that sit on top of Default/Hardcore rather than wiping/resetting Default/Hardcore.

You obviously didn't read what I wrote.

There is 1 month races even 4 month is coming. There will never be any idea to reset the normal leagues because you have races you can participate in which will be fresh and new.

This is the difference between D3 and POE. ;)
