Stuns and crits

are stuns and crits mutually exclusive or can the damage from a crit cause a foe to be stunned?

AFAIK a mob gets stunned if you do enough dmg compared to his total HP. It shouldn't matter if the hit was a crit or not.

EDIT: There's also a cap (i think it's 75%), so that you can't permastun.

There is a soft cap at stun threshold reduction of 75% More than 75% you get diminishing returns per %increase. From the wiki 'The chance to stun is based off the damage done in a single hit compared to the target's maximum life'

If you have 0% stun thresh red. then you need to deal, in one hit, 50% of mob total life to 100% stun. At 75% stun thresh red. = 12.5% of total life for 100% stun. At 150% stun thresh red. = 3.1% of total life for 100% stun.
