Shield Wall ( with Ahn's Citadel) does not perform the attack due to the increased AOE

I've seen other posts with the same problem, so I'm opening another one to give it more visibility, as it's quite an annoying problem.
Not performing attacks makes you go much slower or get killed.

Only happends with the support gem Ahn's Citadel and a high AOE

After some research, I found it's because of the AOE boost.
It started appearing when I started collecting AOE boost nodes.

Removing the Magnified Area II support gem (even i already had it equipped at a low levels) makes the skill work perfectly.
