Act 2 – Vastiri Outskirts: Immersion-breaking Character Voiceline

Hello, Exiles,

I’d like to report a small but immersion-breaking issue I encountered while carefully following the campaign story in Path of Exile 2.
I am playing very attentively – reading all in-game notes, speaking with every NPC, and absorbing the lore step by step.

Context
– Progress: Act 2, first zone – Vastiri Outskirts
– All NPCs in the area were spoken to, all available information collected
– While traversing the zone, my character suddenly triggered the following line:

"
“I should return to the caravan.”

Issue
The line feels out of place in this specific context:
– At this point in the story, there is no narrative reason for the character to suggest returning.
– The voiceline seems to be triggered purely by entering the eastern desert area, not by actual story progression.
– For players invested in reading and following the narrative closely, this creates a jarring break in immersion.

(Showing both the zone “Vastiri Outskirts” and the moment the line triggered.)

Feedback
I believe this voiceline either:
– should be tied to a more appropriate story trigger, or
– be disabled until the narrative context supports it.

This is a minor detail, but for story-focused players, consistency between character dialogue and the unfolding plot is crucial to maintaining immersion.

Thanks for your attention, and keep up the great work on polishing the campaign experience.
