Currency Exchange Slot Blocked (Standard) from Died Hardcore Char

I played hardcore and listed items in currency exchange.

Now i died in Hardcore and give up playing hardcore.

In Softcore i cant use the Slots anymore, because they are blocked in Hardcore.



Very time consuming Workaround: Level another Hardcore char to Act 4 and than remove items.


Possible Solutions:
1.) Seperate Slots for hc/sc/leagues (and not 10 shared for all)

2.) I can clam or cancel open trades (also with a new hardcore char - e.g. in hideout). Additioanl Info: Creating new trade entries shouldnt be possible.

3.) I can cancel the trades from softcore (all items/currencies will be lost warning)

"Fixed a bug where newly created characters could not access the Currency Exchange until they reached act 4 even if you had already unlocked the Currency Exchange with another character in the same league."

This was in tonight's patch. Have you tested making a new character in HC, getting into town, and cancelling everything in HC?

TLTR: Its not working. There is no NPC.


What i tried:
I created a new HC Char after your reply (Additional Info: Old Char was deleted i guess in Version 0.1 and not existing anymore. Stash items etc. are still available).
Played to first Town (Clearfell Encampment).
There is no Currency Trading NPC (Alva or the "new one" with the new trading features). So i cant cancel the open trades.
Only NPCs which are available are: Una, Finn, Renly


Questions:
1.) Did i miss something?
2.) Is there a Shortcut Key or workaround for open Currency exchange window?
3.) Additional Info: I also tried to Trade via market panel (to visit someones elses hideout and quit trades there), but when i click on travel to hideout in market window i get following message:
"You do not have the required Quest State"

4.) I traveled to my hideout, but there i cant place the NPCs like Alva and Ange, because i "have to encounter them to unlock them".

Okay, now we're getting somewhere I think. You mentioned old character, which would be Standard, and then there's the new league which is Abyss league. It sounds like a different league issue. So we need to start from step 1:

Open Currency Exchange, at the bottom of the locked transactions, what league is listed at the bottom of each trade? And at the character select, what league are you currently playing on that is trying to use Exchange?

My theory is you played HC in 0.1
0.1 ended and it became Standard HC
The character died in Standard HC
You made a new character in Abyss SC, which is not the same as Standard HC, thus cannot interact with Standard HC exchanges
You made a test character in Abyss HC, which has not unlocked Act 4 yet

If that all checks out and the bottom of the locked trades says something like Standard Hardcore, then the simple fix should be you need to make a Standard HC character (not Abyss or SSF), get it to first town, and find the NPC that can open Exchange.

If that still doesn't work, then either the bottom of the trades isn't Standard Hardcore, or there's some weird migration issue because the character was 0.1 and I don't see them retroactively fixing that personally, but can discuss next steps if still not fixed.

The new created HC char is for sure a Standard HC char (not League).

Additional Info:
When i log in with a Standard Char in the Curreny Exchange the greyed out trades are from "Hardcore". (I dont know if this is "Standard Hardcore" or 0.1 also counted as some "Hardcore league")


Additional Info: When i click on "League Migrations" button in the Character Selection Screen than nothing happens (only a message is shown "There are no available leagues to migrate process from."

Well that sucks. Then either I'm right and this is potentially an issue with 0.1 migration, or Sarno is right and this is something all HC players have to deal with. You could ask other HC players if they have to deal with the same thing in HC on new characters or not. That would rule out which one it is.

In SC Abyss, I got confirmation from someone who made a second character (first character in maps) and was able to access to Ange immediately to merchant tab buy leveling gear after the patch last night and Exchange as well.

If you find out it is something specific to HC, then only thing left is to compile all the information and post it in PoE 2 Bug Reports. Realistically, you will finish Act 4 campaign in HC well before GGG addresses. Whether or not you have the willingness to do that, well.. good luck.

Oh, one last thing I thought of, did you check hideout as well in Standard HC? Just in case Ange is there for some reason. Longshot.

*edit* For your question: I have no idea, sorry. I don't play Standard or HC.

Problem is - i dont wanna play HC anymore because of Laggy Internet connection :-(.

It would take me hours or days to get to Act 4...


Yes i checked my Hideout in Hardcore Standard - there is no NPC and i cannot add them like wrote before.


Thats really anoying :-(
