Kanu, the first herald bug

To whoever reads this,

I am playing a minion build
Kanu had a sliver of health and he killed me, my minions killed him and it went through the cut scene then he just flys off screen and nothing happens.

I tried starting at check point and he does his little cut scene and disappears again! my objective still says confront kanu, the first herald.

Don't know what to do! but I found a bug....I think.

I have the exact same bug and I don't know what to do either. I'm stuck at this point in the game.

same thing, I killed him with my monk but died at same time. Now he just flies off no idea what to do.

hello i have exactly the same issue, did anyone found a solution? i cannot play because of this for last two weeks :/

Same thing happens here too. Herald shows a short dialogue and then just disappears. Can't proceed with the game :/
