Ritual Cadence bugs
|
This keystone has two very big issues:
1) When you swap weapon, the ritual stops while having consumed the energy, even if you have the Invocation allocated with spirit for both weapons. That said, if you switch weapons, and then switch back before the 2 second cadence for the next cast, it will keep it going. Hopefully that helps with bugfixing. 2) The spell casts continue to target the position you were aiming at when you initiated the Invocation, rather than update to new target for each cast. Had a fun plan to use a staff/bow with this, but both of these issues completely ruin trying to use it. Last edited by Zikah#4309 on Sep 1, 2025, 8:29:04 PM Last bumped on Jan 3, 2026, 4:09:51 PM

Another bug I am getting that I believe is directly related to this is if you walk approximately 2 screens away from where you casted the spell slinger, the skill automatically turns itself off as well regardless of how many stacks you had remaining.
The two screens seems to be repeatable for both vertical and horizontal movement, and as a result the vertical movement shuts off much faster Last edited by TooFarMan#6682 on Sep 5, 2025, 10:37:34 PM

+1 bump. I assume this bug has to do with the targeting logic of invocations. When you move away from the initial cast point it considers you out of range (even for self-cast spells where it shouldn't matter) and bugs out & stops the Ritual Cadence.

+1 on this, too bad because ritual cadence has some nice automation potential, but staying within 2 screens for however many seconds makes it completely useless.

Confirming this bug is still ongoing.

Current behavior has a benefit to some spells. Ritual Cadence will continue to cast Profane Ritual at the location it was triggered granting many power charges from a pack of corpses left behind.
