The Prisoner boss fully regenerate on Smith of Kitava Living weapon

Nearly everything is in the title.
Living Weapon will not avaid the Prisoner attacks... so any life leech from the boss will fully regenerate him, making phase 3 impossible at this step for my warrior.

This just happened to me too. Is that what's happening? I was well outside his "blood harvest" and he fully regenerated. Was that because of the living weapon? Dang!! Unless you can burn him down REAL fast I guess there's no going past him. What a game-breaking situation. :(
