Bind Specter and Tame Beast not working on enemies/corpses in Act 4
Both gems are nonfunctional for me for some reason, they work fine in Acts 1-3 and I'm currently playing with some bound earlier in the campaign. In Act 4 zones specifically, trying to use Bind Specter on a body does nothing, there is no interface to select a corpse or see spirit costs, it hides gold drops and other items until you click again like normal, but there's simply no way to bind a corpse.
For Tame Beast, pressing the skill causes the animation to play but no wisps hinder the target no matter how many times it's pressed and it just dies instead of being captured in a skill gem. I checked the patch notes and list of hotfixes but none mentioned these being disabled, so I'm assuming it's a bug. Last bumped on Sep 5, 2025, 8:59:44 AM

I'd also run into this and it seems on Poedb they're listed as not being specter able so it may be intended?

+1
I want to consider this as a bug/error, what's the point of having a skill that turns enemies into minions if I can't turn enemies into minions I sincerely hope that GGG just forgot to activate the "Spectrable" button on enemyes |

Same here with the taming option. Really want some of these new beasts.

I've seen how much it would cost to reserve them in act 4 but after some time it just stopped and it must be a glich / easy way to prevent all untested mobs from beeing a spectre / tamed beast.
For instance the elefants on Whakapanu Island would cost 99 spirit I wasn't able to catch one But it seemed too cheap for something this size. Rest seemed fine but most propably to avoid broken spectre builds and people crying on forums about lost spectres they just "pulled the plug" from whole locations |
