Fix the performance issues. Used to get 120fps at all times. Now drop to 40 frames a lot. What have y'all done?

Title: Ancestral Spirit Ascendancy – Where Are My Ancestors??

So I took the brand-new Ancestral Spirit Ascendancy, expecting a spiritual army of my forefathers to descend from the heavens and help me in my maps.
Reality check:

No ancestors appeared.

No spectral dad telling me to “stop wasting my life on video games.”

No ghostly uncle offering me a Heineken mid-map.

Not even a single disappointed great-grandma shaking her head when I died for no reason.

Instead, I just got nothing. Zero. My only “spirit companion” right now is the lingering regret of wasting my time on this ascendancy.

GGG, please explain: do I need to craft a +1 to Ancestral Family Tree helmet? Do I need to run trials with a framed photo of my grandparents on my desk to activate it? Or is this just one of those “working as intended” mechanics where the real ancestral spirit was the depression we picked up along the way?
