Asynchronous Trade FAQ
" The new trade system uses a whole new tab type (Merchant tabs). All previous tabs will still exist, and can still be purchased. They continue to function exactly as they did before. Premium Tabs purchased before the launch of 0.3.0 can be converted into Merchant tabs instead if you want to. It's completely optional. Non-converted tabs will continue to work just as they did. Newly purchased Premium tabs will continue to work just as they did. They won't be able to be converted to Merchant tabs if they're purchased after 0.3.0 comes out. (Unless GGG changes their mind and makes this a permanent option). A lot of the worry and complaints in this thread are due to misunderstanding what GGG has said so far. The only one that I've noticed that is a bit of a letdown is that the Merchant tabs are completely useless in SSF. That seems wrong. They should just work like normal tabs in SSF, just like Premium tabs do. But whatever, if this is the price of asynchronous trade, I'm in. | |
What is the point of making us interact with the other players NPC in their hideout? Wouldn't it be easier to just send the item directly to my NPC (or simply my inventory?) after purchasing from the item list window?
You guys are still making this overly complicated for literally no reason, and in doing so opening it up for lots of abuse and scamming. Sirgog has already documented a few scams. I've thought of some myself too. Let's not mention the unnecessary trolling that can happen as well. Also the fact that one could have to go through all of this and then still not secure the sale and end up failing to get the item because someone got their first is absurdly stupid. I just don't understand the mentality of making it so stupidly complicated for literally no reason at all. I don't trade in the current system (aside from currency exchange) because it's always been stupidly cumbersome, and I was hoping this would fix all of that but in fact it only really benefits the seller. The buyer still risks wasting time for nothing, has to now pay gold for the purchase. I still have to go to someone's stupid hideout for no reason. This system isn't encouraging me to use it anymore than the current one. And if I have SSF characters, they get boned out of stash tabs, which is also completely stupid. " They will be selling trade-market specific tabs. The whole conversion thing is only about tabs you've bought in the past. Last edited by sesquipedalias#2884 on Aug 27, 2025, 3:39:44 AM

You missed the entire point of Asynchronous trade with this joke of an NPC , pretty much on purpose .
This is insanity . Last edited by skaterboy80#3665 on Aug 27, 2025, 4:47:20 AM

this. why titan quest 2 tech demo early alpha comes out and you can instantly and flawlessly switch between m&k and controller and in poe 2 after 1 year of development you have to log out to change input settings is beyond me

would it be possible to filter items from new system and old one (where a lot of price fixers will remain still) ?

I have a very specific question:
Will Premium Quad Stash tabs (the big ones) be convertible to merchant tabs? Or only the Premium Stash tabs (the small ones) Anyone got a direct answer? |
